Graham Packaging Company in York, PA has an opening for a Relief Operator (Extruder Operator/Forklift Driver/Sorter) based in York, PA at our Recycling Plant. The role supports shift work on 3rd shift (10:48PM–7:00AM, with Sunday start-up hours). Starting pay is $22.35 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Weekly pay and benefits begin Day One, with vacation after 90 days. The operator will rotate through Extruder, Forklift, and Sorter duties, performing setup, material handling,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including customer interactions.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion.
• Collaborates well with others and proactively helps team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate Extruder, Forklift, and Sorter across plant areas.
• Follow established safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Perform setup, material handling, QA-like checks, and housekeeping tasks.
