Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Material Handler / Forklift Operator based in York, PA at our Recycling Plant. We have 2nd Shift, 2:48 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Starting pay is $20.60/hour plus $2.00/hour shift differential, with weekly pay and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Must maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load production lines with raw materials as instructed by the supervisor.
• Maintain current and correct raw material inventory.
• Unload raw materials from trailers and complete unloading documents.
• Dump and bale hoppers of sorted raw materials; manage contamination in trash/yard.
• Remove bulk boxes of aluminum cans and store neatly in the warehouse.
• Receive parts and supplies and secure packing slips.
• Keep work area clean; train fellow employees as requested.
