Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in York, PA is seeking a sorter for the 3rd shift at our Recycling Plant. The role starts at $18.90 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential, with weekly pay and benefits from day one, plus vacation after 90 days.

Responsibilities include sorting materials on production lines, removing contaminants, maintaining cleanliness, and following all safety regulations. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, with opportunities to train and support fellow employees.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Sort raw materials on the production lines for processing.
• Sort contamination out of raw materials.
• Sort raw material colors.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Clean out dryers on blade changes and blade rotations.
• Keep work station clean.
• Follow all safety regulations and requirements.
• Train fellow employees as requested.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
