Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Material Handler / Forklift Operator based in York, PA at our Recycling Plant. The 2nd shift runs 2:48 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Starting pay is $20.60/hour, plus $2.00/hour shift differential. Weekly pay and benefits from day one, with vacation after 90 days.

Responsibilities include loading lines, maintaining inventory, unloading materials, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace. Training fellow employees is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Must maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with others.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load production lines with materials as instructed by the supervisor.
• Maintain current and accurate raw material inventory.
• Unload materials from trailers and document counts.
• Dump and bale hoppers of sorted materials.
• Store finished goods and keep warehouse organized.
• Receive parts and supplies and secure packing slips.
