Job summary

VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists is seeking a relief ER/ICU Technician to support our fast-growing 24/7 Specialty and Emergency/Critical Care hospital in the United States.

The ideal CVT will deliver expert patient care, perform radiology and anesthesia monitoring, and maintain accurate medical records while supporting doctors and other staff. A minimum of 1 year in a veterinary hospital is required, with strong communication and physical endurance essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital.
• CVT credential required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with coworkers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Radiology and anesthesia monitoring.
• Surgical preparation and assisting in procedures.
• Laboratory work and patient recordkeeping.
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals and assist doctors.
