Job summary

STRiVE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (PRN) to provide health and safety support for individuals in vocational/day settings. The role requires a current QMAP certification and completion of program-specific plans and documentation.

As a relief DSP, you will cover across STRiVE programs, ensuring medication safety, emergency response, and participation in community activities while promoting independence and growth.

Qualifications

• Requires QMAP certification in good standing.
• Position is contingent on passing a background check.
• Ability to provide person-centered supervision and supports across programs.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration: assist and supervise medications per policy and records.
• Provide medical care/treatment coordination and timely follow-through on orders.
• Respond to emergencies and notify supervisors; arrange transport when needed.
• Support participation in vocational and day program activities to meet goals.
• Document ISP data, attendance, incidents and other required records accurately.
