Legacy Staffing is partnering with a world-class hospital in Avon, OH to hire an experienced Relief Cook. This floating, first-shift role focuses on preparing meals for patients while maintaining quality, safety, sanitation, and dietary standards in a healthcare food service environment.

You will cover AM and PM shifts as needed, with weekend and holiday rotation. The position offers weekly pay and benefits, and onboarding with Cleveland Clinic requirements is part of the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cooking/food handling experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must complete onboarding and obtain facility badge.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food for patient meal service.

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a World-Class Hospital in Avon, OH to hire an experienced Relief Cook. This is a 1st shift floating opportunity with a pay rate of $16.00/hour based on experience and skill level. This role focuses on preparing meals for patients while maintaining quality, safety, sanitation, and dietary standards in a healthcare food service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare food for patient meal service
• Dip, portion, and plate food items as needed
• Operate kitchen equipment, including flat-top grills and ovens
• Follow recipes and meal preparation instructions accurately
• Ensure meals are prepared according to dietary restrictions and nutritional requirements
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations
• Follow food safety and infection control standards
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and reading comprehension skills

Required Qualifications:

Schedule:

This is a floating relief position designed to provide coverage for scheduled absences, vacations, and time off.

Candidates must be available to work within the department's operating hours of 5:30 AM - 7:30 PM and be flexible to cover either of the following shifts based on staffing needs:

• AM Cook Shift: 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• PM Cook Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

This position requires flexibility to work either shift, as assigned. Employees should also be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
