Job summary

Milford Mining Company Utah, LLC is seeking a part-time Shuttle Bus Driver to transport MMCU employees on a fixed daily route between Cedar City and the Milford mine site. The role demands punctuality, safety awareness, and strict adherence to scheduled departures.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain trip logs, and communicate routine schedule updates to supervision. Prior passenger-van experience and a Utah class D license with clean MVR are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a Utah class D driver’s license and have a clean MVR.
• A clean MVR means no DUI, reckless driving, major moving violations, or license suspensions within the past three years.
• Strong reliability and punctuality; role depends on a fixed schedule.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening.
• Willingness to complete MSHA site orientation and required refresher training.
• CDL with passenger endorsement is preferred.
• Prior experience driving a passenger van, bus, or other commercial vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the shuttle vehicle safely along the fixed route between Cedar City/Beaver and the Milford site.
• Depart each stop at its posted time and maintain schedule.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip safety inspections.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety defects to supervision.
• Keep interior/exterior clean and perform fueling as needed.
• Maintain daily trip logs and fueling documentation.
• Ensure vehicle is secured when unattended and during layovers.
