Milford Mining Company Utah, LLC is seeking a part-time Shuttle Bus Driver to transport MMCU employees on a fixed Cedar City/Beaver route to the Milford mine site. The role requires punctuality, safety-consciousness, and adherence to a fixed schedule.

Qualified candidates must be at least 18, hold a Utah class D license with a clean MVR, pass drug/alcohol screening, and complete MSHA orientation. CDL with passenger endorsement preferred; prior passenger transport experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must hold a Utah class D driver's license with a clean MVR.
• No DUI, reckless driving, major moving violations, or license suspensions within the past three years.
• Strong reliability and punctuality; fixed schedule is essential.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening; comply with random testing.
• MSHA site orientation and any required refreshers for mine property.
• Professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with passengers and staff.
• Prior experience driving a passenger van/bus; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the shuttle vehicle safely along the fixed route between designated points and the Milford site, in accordance with traffic laws and MMCU policies.
• Depart each stop at its posted time and maintain the published schedule.
• Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Report mechanical issues or safety defects to supervision and remove the vehicle from service if needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean, sanitary, and presentable for riders.
• Refuel as scheduled and ensure adequate fuel before shifts.
• Lock and secure the vehicle when unattended.
• Maintain daily records, trip logs, and fueling documentation.
• Enforce passenger safety expectations, including seatbelt use, and report concerns.
• Communicate delays or safety issues to HR/Safety and follow emergency procedures.
