Job summary

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license required and maintained
• DOT and Medical Certification cards required
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with a clean MV record
• Ability to operate straight trucks and box trucks; flatbed experience a plus
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; forklift certification preferred or obtainable onsite

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical materials on time to job sites, contractor yards, and customer locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle safety standards
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and branch operations to address delays or issues
• Assist with loading/unloading and staging outbound freight as needed
• Represent Shepherd professionally at every delivery and maintain load integrity
• Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure loads are built and secured correctly
