Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a Delivery Driver CDL Class A to support Laurel, MD operations. You will deliver electrical materials to job sites and contractor yards, ensuring accuracy and on-time performance.

You will also perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and assist with loading and unloading as needed. Candidates must have a CDL Class A, DOT medical certification, and at least 3 years of driving experience with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• DOT and Medical Certification cards required.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a clean MVR.
• Knowledge of air brake systems.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Forklift certification preferred or obtainable onsite.
• Available for schedule adjustments as needed.
• Strong verbal communication skills for clear coordination.
• Familiarity with local delivery routes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical materials to job sites and customer locations on time.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections every shift.
• Assist with loading and unloading and staging outbound freight.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to avoid delays.
