Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Current DOT and Medical Certification cards required.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailer with manual transmission.
• Knowledge of air brake systems.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. regularly and perform the physical requirements of the role.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain through onsite training.
• Available for schedule adjustments as business needs require.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong verbal communication skills — you relay information clearly and on time.
• Familiarity with the area - delivery routes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical materials accurately and on time to job sites, contractor yards, and customer locations.
• Operate tractor-trailer and box/flatbed trucks on assigned routes.
• Confirm delivery accuracy before departure and document discrepancies.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and branch operations if a delivery is at risk of delay.
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections each shift.
• Maintain CDL Class A license, DOT certification, and medical certification at all times.
