Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Gypsum's Sweetwater, TX facility is seeking an experienced Reliability Technician to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of production assets. The role provides technical support for ongoing maintenance, new equipment, and project inspections in line with plant policies.

You'll perform monthly vibration analysis, develop reliability plans, and collaborate with teams to determine corrective actions, such as equipment replacements or safety procedure updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in vibration monitoring and calibration.
• Familiarity with vibration analysis tools and techniques.
• Engineering or maintenance background required.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly vibration analysis to monitor equipment health.
• Provide technical support for ongoing maintenance, new equipment, and project inspections.
• Develop and implement plans to improve reliability based on investigation findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine corrective actions and safety procedures.
• Identify potential causes of equipment failure to prevent recurrence.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at varying heights.
