Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a vibration analytics expert to oversee plant-wide vibration data analysis for its US portfolio. You will leverage AI and GP systems to maximize facility value, with remote work and travel to sites up to 50% of the time.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in vibration analysis, maintenance or asset health, and are prepared to lead transformation in asset health monitoring across a large network of facilities.

Qualifications

• ISO Vibration Level II or higher.
• 5 years minimum experience in maintenance or facility operations in an industrial, manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency conducting analysis using SKF/Emerson CSI or equivalent vibration toolsets.
• Effective utilization of problem solving methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to learn and utilize social networking tools.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office tools.
• Willing and able to travel to sites to build relationships with operations and to understand process - up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of plant wide vibration data received through remote monitoring of site assets. (25% each day)
• Establish communication network with assigned plants and follow up on the above with recommended courses of action. (25% each day)
• Coordinate with regional techs on an 'as needed' basis to conduct further site analysis.
• Continue to develop work flow model to be used in all future remote monitoring projects, as well as working with data analytics teams where vibration data is needed. (25% each day)
• Visit sites in order to help in QA/QC and execution when needed (25%)
• Assist in developing and executing site wide sensor installations as need arises
• Travel up to 50%
