Job summary

CMC is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across our facilities. You will interpret blueprints, use SAP maintenance tools, and prepare reports while upholding strict safety standards.

This 12-hour shift role requires physical stamina and the ability to work weekends/overtime. We provide Day 1 benefits, PTO, 401(k) match, and opportunities for training and advancement within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to utilize precision measurement instruments.
• Must be able to work a 12 hour shift, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes and mists, and loud environments.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and perform physical tasks.
• Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Quick learner and multitasking capability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and determine root cause.
• Monitor and inspect equipment for defects and remove faulty parts.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Utilize SAP maintenance module and document actions.
• Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing data.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Understand start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain daily housekeeping in work area.
• Use predictive and non-destructive testing methods.
