Job summary
Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Tech on a 12-hour swing shift (days and nights) to maintain asset performance and support continuous production in our Dalton, GA operations.
The role emphasizes safety, high-quality workmanship, and proactive maintenance practices across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform PM/PdM activities, and collaborate with maintenance leadership to drive reliability improvements and minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Safety practices such as LOTO, PPE and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Proficient in selecting and using maintenance tools correctly.
- Basic math and measurement skills for PM/PdM activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe maintenance on assigned equipment with quality workmanship.
- Support production with reliable maintenance to meet goals.
- Follow standards and best practices in all tasks.
- Learn maintenance practices and their impact on processes and performance.
- Provide feedback on assignment needs and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in installation and removal of general mechanical systems.
