Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Reliability and Quality Engineer to drive operations reliability and quality improvements using engineering tools. You will support improvement initiatives and ensure participation from all areas of responsibility.

The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving first-pass yield, and applying statistical methods to data-driven decisions. You will lead the implementation of maintenance and process improvements aligned with safety and quality standards at the plant.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing operations.
• 2+ years driving reliability and quality projects.
• Knowledge of materials, failure mechanisms, fabrication and repair processes.
• Familiarity with Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Proven ability to improve reliability and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability and quality improvements using engineering tools.
• Support improvement initiatives and ensure participation from all areas of responsibility.
• Increase production reliability by driving projects to improve uptime and quality of finished products.
• Find root causes and implement actions addressing mechanical breakdowns and quality concerns.
• Apply statistical tools for data-driven decisions.
• Lead and implement improvements with controls to sustain results.
