Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Maintenance - Line Setter in Reno, Nevada. The role focuses on safety-driven maintenance of production equipment, with responsibilities spanning 2nd level maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement in reliability.

You will ensure safety devices are operational, participate in downtime projects, and support team development within a global automotive supplier environment.

Qualifications

• Adherence to safety rules and NFPA 70e requirements.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Ability to participate in 5S activities and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Apply safety rules with immediate reaction to dangerous situations.
• Ensure safety devices are operational before restart after maintenance.
• Propose preventive maintenance improvements to reduce reliability issues.
• Perform 2nd level maintenance operations on machines.
• Repair and rebuild production frames, carts and tooling as needed.
• Escalate deviations in spare parts warehouse and machine observations.
• Participate in scheduled downtime projects and 5S activities.
• Assist in developing team members and coworkers for machines.
