Job summary

Titan Search Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a growing food manufacturer near Columbus, GA to raise equipment uptime, sharpen maintenance strategy, and cut unplanned stoppages at its production plant. You will blend data, engineering judgment, and hands-on coaching with operations and maintenance crews to boost safety, output, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervising maintenance or production, ideally in TPM settings.
• Engineering degree or substantial equivalent experience is preferred.
• Solid mechanical and manufacturing knowledge with statistics and predictive maintenance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own the site's maintenance planning, scheduling, and breakdown reduction routines.
• Manage PM plans for assigned zones with criticality ranking and follow-through.
• Build dashboards for MTBF, MTTR, and OEE to report results and projects.
• Lead investigations into breakdowns and teach root-cause analysis to update standards.
• Coach and audit centerline, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and defect handling standards.
