Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Supervisor at Plant 22 in Thomson, GA to lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment.

The role involves supervising daily maintenance, coordinating with Lean and production teams, managing work orders, safety training, and continuous improvement initiatives. A high school diploma and maintenance experience are required, with supervisory background preferred; some weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; prior Lead or Supervisor preferred.
• Experience in maintenance within the last 5 years required.
• Preferred: 1+ year maintenance supervisory experience; extrusion process experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations and oversee technicians and contractors.
• Interface procedures and systems, ensure effective communication with leadership and hourly teammates.
• Perform administrative tasks (Policies, Kronos, PeopleSoft, attendance, payroll, etc.).
• Coordinate with Lean Leadership and Managers for continuous improvement.
• Plan shifts, production scheduling, projects and standard work with team leads.
• Promote quality and environmental awareness and safety practices.
• Assign staff based on workload and oversee repairs to equipment and facilities.
• Manage work orders and ensure timely, complete execution.
• Support safety training and device the continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
• Ensure PPE is used and maintained; drive safe work practices.
