Job summary

Hill's Pet Nutrition, part of Colgate-Palmolive, seeks a Reliability Business Unit Lead to drive equipment uptime and PM optimization on production shifts in Tonganoxie, KS. You will analyze real-time data, troubleshoot root causes, and schedule PMs with the Maintenance Planner, aligning with GMPs and food-safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in maintenance, SAP PM experience, and strong communication; travel up to 10% and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience or a technical degree with at least 3 years in maintenance
• Proficient with office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email
• Industrial equipment troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities
• Experience with electronic maintenance work orders
• Ability to meet physical requirements (lift up to 50 lbs, variable temps, stairs)

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance using software like Augury, Everactive, Wonderware; analyze data to guide maintenance actions
• Develop detailed maintenance schedules with Operations and Maintenance Planner; review work orders and PM plans
• Coordinate PM execution; provide updates in daily/weekly maintenance meetings
• Manage SAP PM system; ensure work order integrity, equipment masters, BOMs, PM plans, and predictive maintenance
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers and Operations to identify root causes of failures
• Ensure availability of maintenance parts via Parts and Materials Resources
• Serve as SAP Power-user; assist in SAP training and support
• Identify and report Food Safety/EOHS issues and maintain compliance with GMPs
