Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive's Hill's Pet Nutrition facility in Tonganoxie, Kansas seeks a Reliability Business Unit Lead to drive peak equipment uptime and efficiency across manufacturing shifts. You will analyze real-time analytics, troubleshoot root causes, and optimize preventive maintenance schedules, collaborating with maintenance teams and planners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience or Technical Degree with minimum 3 years maintenance experience.
• Proficient with an office suite such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and email.
• Industrial equipment-related and technical expertise to troubleshoot technical issues and improve PM activities.
• Electronic Maintenance Work Order System experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in variable temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Monitors equipment performance using software like Augury, Everactive, and Wonderware; analyzes data to recommend maintenance actions.
• Develops detailed maintenance schedules with Operations and Maintenance Planner; prioritizes work orders and PMs.
• Coordinates PM execution and communicates progress to Operations.
• Manages SAP PM system; ensures work order integrity and updates equipment masters and PM plans.
• Works with maintenance team to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement improvements.
• Coordinates availability of parts and materials for PMs, rebuilds, and storerooms.
• Acts as SAP Power-user and provides SAP training and support as needed.
• Identifies and reports Food Safety and EOHS issues via weekly reports.
• May cover for the Maintenance Planner when needed and schedule work orders for technicians and contractors.
