Job summary

The Hershey Company in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Reliability Lead to drive asset reliability and maintenance excellence across production lines. You will lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs, guide RCA efforts, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and technical teams to deliver sustainable improvements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong data analysis, and a focus on safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
3+ years in maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing.
Experience with reliability-centered maintenance and TPM.
Experience with SAP-PM or similar CMMS; SAP S/4 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead overall maintenance and asset reliability activities for assigned production lines or process areas.
Manage maintenance planning and scheduling through SAP work-order prioritization.
Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs with data analysis.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve reliability.
Partner with Technical Assurance on asset management, inventory, and safety/quality standards.
Support site capital planning and lead capital or major technical improvement projects.
Participate in daily huddles and report maintenance performance metrics.
Coach mechanics and operators to strengthen ownership and skills.
