Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Reliability Hardware Engineer to join the Reliability Hardware & Systems Development team.

You will design, develop, validate and maintain reliability stress hardware and test systems used to qualify semiconductor products, collaborating with reliability engineers, technicians, product teams and senior hardware developers. The role offers exposure to Burn-In, HAST, HTOL hardware, fixtures and evaluation activities across technologies.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • 2+ years in hardware development, test, reliability engineering, product engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience with electronic test equipment and lab work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate reliability stress hardware (BIBs, HAST boards, HTOL hardware, fixtures).
  • Support hardware for reliability qualification and engineering evaluation activities.
  • Collaborate with reliability engineers and product teams to translate requirements into hardware solutions.
  • Assist technicians during hardware validation, qualification, and failure analysis.
  • Troubleshoot board-, system-, and lab equipment issues to enable reliable testing.
  • Coordinate with offshore hardware resources to debug and resolve issues.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve technical challenges and improve hardware performance.
  • Contribute to root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Support ESD and latch-up hardware development as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve hardware quality and reliability.
