Job summary

Dow Inc. in Beaumont/Orange, Texas, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support reliability improvements. You will diagnose problems, calibrate and align equipment, and plan maintenance with planners while coordinating spare parts usage.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year experience with pumps and compressors, and OSHA-safe work practices. US work authorization is required; visas are not sponsored.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience with basic process equipment (pumps, blowers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
• Current, valid US driver’s license to drive a forklift.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems.
• Calibrates and aligns equipment.
• Completes preventative maintenance activities.
• Checks sizing of components and parts.
• Specifies, requisitions, and installs parts and equipment.
• Coordinates maintenance spare parts.
• Assists in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance.
• Repairs, maintains and installs equipment and machinery used in the process.
• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions and documents failure analysis.
• Collects equipment operation and history data for reliability improvements.
• Works within established Maintenance Work Processes and helps resolve issues.
