Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Beaumont or Orange, Texas. The role involves maintaining and repairing equipment, calibrating systems, and supporting maintenance planning to keep plant operations efficient.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of hands‑on experience with pumps and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, a valid forklift license, and the ability to work overtime. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience with basic process equipment (pumps, blowers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
• Valid US driver’s license to operate forklift.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems.
• Calibrates and aligns equipment.
• Performs and documents preventative maintenance activities.
• Checks sizing of components and parts.
• Specifies, requisitions, and installs parts and equipment.
• Coordinates maintenance spare parts and planning activities.
• Repairs, maintains and installs process equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and conducts failure analysis.
