Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Beaumont or Orange, Texas to support plants with maintenance and repair of process equipment. You will diagnose issues, calibrate and align components, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with planners and operators.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years with pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years of experience with basic process equipment (pumps, blowers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
US driver’s license to operate a forklift.
Legal work status in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and correct equipment problems.
Calibrate and align equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance activities.
Coordinate maintenance spare parts and planning.
Assist in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance.
Repair, maintain and install equipment used in the process.
