Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assure the reliability of equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement. The role focuses on uptime, safe practices, and effective repairs in a plant environment.

Candidates should have 3+ years in chemical plant maintenance, knowledge of OSHA safety rules, and the ability to read mechanical drawings. Overtime and on-call availability are required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience maintaining a chemical plant.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules.
• Ability to read/interpret mechanical drawings (single line, schematic, P&ID).
• Use of basic hand tools and shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment using safe work procedures daily.
• Diagnose problems to root cause and facilitate repairs.
• Develop reliability improvements and assist with approved projects.
• Aim to reduce downtime for mechanical activities.
• Install, repair, and maintain pumps and associated equipment.
• Install, service, and repair mechanical seals.
