Job Title: Reliability Engineer & Capital Projects Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Reliability Engineer andCapital Projects Leadto join our team at the El Paso Site (F&P manufacturing facility).

This key role is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives in equipment and facility reliability and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of capital projects (CAPEX)—from scope definition through execution.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical engineering expertise and solid project management experience, and collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and external vendors to ensure the efficiency, compliance, and sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Reliability:

  • Develop and implement predictive and proactive maintenance strategies, such as RCM and FMEA.
  • Partner with the Maintenance team to optimize preventive maintenance (PM) routines, critical spare parts management, and asset lifecycle strategies.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve equipment uptime and reliability in formulation and packaging lines.

Capital Projects:

  • Lead capital projects from concept and scope definition through to commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external contractors to ensure the safe, timely, and compliant execution of projects.
  • Prepare business cases, capital funding requests, and project status reports for leadership.
  • Ensure proper technical documentation, validation activities, and training are completed for all new or upgraded systems.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in regulated industries (e.g., food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics).
  • Proven experience in equipment reliability improvement and CAPEX project management.
  • Proficiency in CMMS systems (SAP preferably), continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma), and reliability methodologies.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred:

  • PMP, CMRP, or similar certification.
  • Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, cGMP, or other regulatory compliance standards.
  • Experience with automation or digitalization initiatives in manufacturing settings.
