Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated seeks a Reliability Engineering intern for summer 2026 to learn manufacturing, corn wet milling, and reliability technologies. You will work with operations and maintenance to study processes and develop preventive maintenance strategies.

Candidates should be pursuing ME, EE, or closely related fields with a ≥3.0 GPA and a readiness to learn hands-on and computer-based tools. This on-site internship offers salary and housing stipends in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Chemical Engineering considered; minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 preferred.
• Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer internship term.
• Strong technical communication, critical thinking, and data analytics skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies in condition-based monitoring and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand manufacturing processes with operations and maintenance teams.
• Contribute to maintenance system improvements through criticality-based equipment strategies and PM routing.
• Support PM optimization evaluations and root cause analysis of equipment issues.
