Daimler Truck North America is seeking an Reliability Engineering Intern to learn through real-life projects in Fort Mill, SC. You will analyze data, build dashboards, and support cross-functional teams to improve product quality and profitability.

The internship runs during the summer with a hybrid work schedule (in-office and remote) and may lead to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently graduated in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Science, Statistics, Economics, and Data analytics.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid Organizational Skills and a Creative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from multiple sources (dealers, customers, technicians) to identify trends and root causes.
• Develop summary reports and dashboards to communicate findings and highlight key issues.
• Use analytics tools to forecast, perform trend analysis, and identify cost drivers (parts, labor).
• Evaluate cost exposure and reliability data to support risk assessment and portfolio optimization.
• Identify outliers in repair activity and help develop tools to detect opportunities or risks.
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture.
