Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Reliability Engineering Intern for a hybrid Fort Mill, SC role. You will analyze data across warranty, reliability, and engineering domains, helping identify trends and cost drivers while delivering insights to cross-functional teams.

You will develop reports and dashboards, support forecasting, and contribute to risk assessment efforts with a collaborative, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or higher or recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/June).
• Pursuing or received a degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Science, Statistics, Economics, and Data analytics.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends and potential root causes.
• Support development of summary reports and dashboards to communicate findings.
• Utilize analytics tools for forecasting, trend analysis, and identifying cost drivers.
• Assist in evaluating cost exposure and reliability data to support risk assessment and portfolio optimization.
• Lead and support efforts to foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture.
