Job summary

Sofidel America is seeking a Reliability Engineer to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime at our North Las Vegas facility. The role emphasizes vibration analysis, rotating equipment diagnostics, and predictive maintenance programs within a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in vibration monitoring, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and experience with CMMS are preferred, with opportunities to lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
• 3+ years in reliability engineering or vibration analysis in manufacturing.
• Experience with vibration analysis and rotating equipment diagnostics.
• Vibration Analysis Certification (ISO III) preferred.
• Predictive maintenance technologies: vibration monitoring, ultrasound, thermography, oil analysis.
• CMMS experience with MaintainX or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead vibration analysis activities including data collection and reporting.
• Analyze failures and perform root cause analysis on rotating equipment.
• Develop and support predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor performance data to identify trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering and Operations to prioritize actions.
• Support reliability centered maintenance strategies.
• Drive reliability projects to extend equipment life.
• Maintain documentation on equipment performance and maintenance.
