Job summary

Sofidel S.p.A. is seeking an experienced Millwright to maintain and repair plant machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The role focuses on reducing downtime, performing preventive maintenance, and implementing process improvements.

You will work from sketches and drawings while coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed to enhance output and product quality. The position requires a minimum of five years in a related field, with strong electrical and mechanical

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or high school diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years in a related field.
Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and computer skills required.
Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting experience is required.
Experience in welding and machining is preferred.

Responsibilities

Enter work orders into computer systems and monitor required work.
Perform upkeep and repairs on mechanical and physical structures from sketches/blueprints.
Prioritize planned equipment shutdowns via preventive maintenance, diagnostics, parts replacement, and testing.
Evaluate procedures for relevance and suitability of engineering equipment.
Inspect mechanical equipment to identify problems and support process improvements.
Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and identify root causes.
