Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive qualification and testing of advanced packaging and interconnect technologies. You will work with device engineers, process technologists, and manufacturing to evaluate, qualify, and improve technology reliability for next‑generation RF, millimeter-wave, and high-speed digital products.

The role requires hands-on experience with reliability testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Experience with advanced packaging, interposer, and heterogeneous integration technologies.
• Understanding of long-term package and interconnect reliability mechanisms.
• Knowledge of degradation mechanisms and reliability testing, including THB and HAST.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute reliability qualification strategies for advanced packaging, heterogeneous integration, interposer technologies, and high-performance interconnect solutions.
• Evaluate emerging packaging and integration technologies for reliability in high-performance Test & Measurement applications.
• Investigate package- and interconnect-level degradation mechanisms and develop qualification methodologies.
• Apply advanced statistical and data analysis techniques to identify reliability risks and guide technology decisions.
• Build and expand package reliability characterization infrastructure for rapid assessment of new technologies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate reliability data into action that drives product success.
• Communicate results to stakeholders to influence roadmaps and qualifications.
