Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a maintenance/reliability engineer for a refinery in Texas City. The role covers both fixed and rotating equipment, and involves day-to-day maintenance and reliability work to support plant uptime.

You will help develop and improve maintenance strategies, collaborating with on-site technicians and contractors to optimize asset performance and safety in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in heavy industrial environments such as refining or petrochemicals.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, fixed equipment, piping and refinery maintenance practices.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, backlog management, contract maintenance resources, and CMMS systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, Process Safety Management, lockout/tagout, and safe-work permitting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day maintenance and reliability tasks for refinery assets.
• Assist in developing and refining maintenance/reliability strategy with on-site technicians and contractors.
