Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings is seeking a Reliability Engineer in the Electrical field for our Kapolei refinery. The role focuses on improving electrical/instrumentation reliability, leading projects, and supporting maintenance and modernization efforts.

The candidate will troubleshoot 480V–138kV systems, produce drawings in AutoCAD, and coordinate with maintenance and operations to reduce downtime and costs. A strong team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum two years’ experience in power engineering preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, SCADA; SEL is a plus.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for electrical/instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot refinery-wide electrical systems (480V to 138kV).
• Use AutoCAD to create/update drawings and reflect field changes.
• Develop and maintain standardized electrical specifications.
• Review vendor/contractor electrical designs for safety codes.
• Develop PM tasks in SAP to improve reliability.
