Job summary

Par Pacific is seeking a Reliability Engineer in the Electrical field for our Kapolei refinery. You will recommend and implement improvements to enhance reliability of electrical and instrumentation systems, and collaborate across teams to drive cost-effective reliability initiatives.

Reporting to the Reliability Superintendent, you will manage projects from maintenance to modernization, work on 480V to 138kV systems, use AutoCAD for drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement while being

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in power engineering preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/instrumentation diagrams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide specifications and guidance for electrical/instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot refinery-wide electrical systems (480V to 138kV).
• Create/Update drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support ongoing projects with QA for electrical/instrumentation.
• Review breakdowns to Eliminate root causes and reduce costs.
• Develop One-Lines (as-built) reflecting field changes.
• Develop PM tasks in SAP to improve reliability.
• Work off-hours for emergencies and turnarounds.
