Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve plant reliability and lead predictive maintenance initiatives at our cement production facilities. The role collaborates with maintenance, operations, and engineering to reduce downtime and optimize asset performance.

The position requires a strong maintenance background, CAD proficiency, and the ability to manage projects from concept through implementation, while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in an industrial environment.
• Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Strong reliability improvement and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Review reliability, productivity, and downtime reports to identify repetitive problems and develop solutions.
• Develop and implement vibration analysis predictive maintenance program, including alignment and balancing.
• Provide input to the plant capital budget and maintenance budget.
• Act as a supervisor when required; be on-call rotating to cover mechanical issues.
• Support operating groups and maintenance department to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
