Solvay, a global chemical company, seeks a Reliability Engineer to join the Chicago Heights plant. You will drive equipment reliability, analyze data, and lead capital projects to maximize OEE while meeting budgets and quality targets.

You will manage preventive/predictive maintenance, maintain MI documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance. A 5–10 year background in chemical plant maintenance and API/vessel/piping inspection certs are required, with a plan to obtain the vibration analyst

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 5-10 years of plant maintenance and construction experience at a chemical plant.
• Must be API vessel and piping inspector certified.
• Hold a Category II (or higher) vibration analyst certification.
• Candidates without these certifications must obtain them within 1 year of employment.

Responsabilités

• Analyze equipment data using Pareto analysis, RCA, and FMEA to minimize downtime.
• Manage capital projects from conception to commissioning, including RFQ prep and contractor management.
• Oversee PM/PdM program by developing and monitoring maintenance activities and inspection frequencies.
• Maintain MI program documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
• Optimize plant resources by monitoring spare parts inventory and writing procedures.
