Job summary

LiquidPower Specialty Products Inc. (LSPI) seeks a Reliability Engineer to advance the reliability and safety of plant equipment by partnering with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering across LSPI locations.

You will troubleshoot issues, optimize maintenance strategies, and support reliable execution of turnarounds and upgrades. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years in reliability or plant engineering, with hands-on experience in fixed and rotating equipment, root cause

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
5+ years of reliability or plant engineering experience.
Experience supporting maintenance, reliability initiatives, and equipment improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop reliability projects to improve equipment performance and extend asset life.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate failures using root cause analysis and reliability tools.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Analyze downtime and reliability metrics to identify improvements.
Provide input for maintenance scopes, turnarounds, and capital projects.
Support equipment design, installation, startup, and upgrades.
Document repair practices and lessons learned to improve reliability.
Identify cost reductions via spare parts strategies and lubrication practices.
Promote safe and compliant maintenance practices.
