Job summary

LiquidPower Specialty Products Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support the reliability, availability, and safe performance of plant equipment.

You will partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, improve maintenance strategies, reduce unplanned downtime, and support reliable execution of maintenance, turnarounds, and equipment improvement work across LSPI locations. This is a safety sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in reliability/maintenance engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience with plant maintenance, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, or improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develops reliability projects to improve equipment performance and lifespan.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues, evaluates repairs, and recommends corrective actions.
• Investigates failures using root cause analysis and reliability tools to prevent repeats.
• Supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs and evaluates effectiveness.
• Analyzes downtime/history and maintenance trends to identify improvements and communicate insights to leadership.
• Provides technical input for maintenance scopes, turnarounds, replacements, and capital projects.
• Ensures equipment changes and reliability practices meet site standards.
