Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer at the Tilden site in Ishpeming, MI to strengthen maintenance programs by emphasizing predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance.

You will oversee portions of predictive and preventive maintenance, develop inspection routes, initiate work orders, monitor downtime, and perform failure analysis to drive improvements and reduce unscheduled downtime. Minimum qualifications include a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portions of the predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
• Develop or improve inspection and maintenance routes and intervals.
• Initiate work orders, as needed, to plan and schedule repairs.
• Monitor equipment delay systems to populate detailed Pareto downtime analysis.
• Develop total life cycle cost reports and other ad hoc reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform reliability-based training for the operations and maintenance team.
• Manage project work as necessary.
