Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineer to improve asset reliability, uptime, and maintenance efficiency. You will develop PM/PdM programs, analyze failures, and drive RCFA/RCM studies to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.

You will collaborate with Facilities, Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS to ensure compliance with GMP and corporate standards while leading continuous improvement initiatives and lifecycle asset strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Reliability Engineering or related technical discipline.
• CRE or CMRP certification preferred.
• 5+ years in maintenance, reliability engineering, facilities, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/regulated industries preferred.
• Experience with CMMS systems BM-RAM, Maximo, SAP, eMaint or equivalent.
• GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/biotech/manufacturing environments experience.
• Technical knowledge: RCM, FMEA, RCA, Predictive Maintenance, Asset Lifecycle, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Reliability Metrics, Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC/Utility/Process Equipment, SCADA/BMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies across the facility.
• Lead RCFA, FMEA, and RCAs to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Manage PM, PdM, and condition-based monitoring programs.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Project Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS teams.
• Support capital projects with reliability considerations.
