Job summary

Greif, Inc. in Tacoma, WA seeks a Reliability Engineer to enhance equipment reliability and operational performance across the mill.

You will analyze performance data, develop maintenance strategies, perform RCFA, and partner with Operations, Maintenance, and engineering to reduce downtime and extend asset life. The role covers CMMS/EAM data management, spare parts planning, and lifecycle management of OT systems (DCS, PLCs, QCS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, reliability, manufacturing, or related industrial operations.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment performance and maintenance history to identify failure trends.
• Develop preventive, predictive, proactive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Perform RCFA and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to troubleshoot issues and improve machine performance.
• Support OT systems (DCS, PLCs, QCS) and related automation infrastructure.
• Lead outages and cross-functional improvement efforts.
