MiniMed in Northridge, CA seeks a Reliability Engineer II to design and execute test strategies for insulin therapy systems, applying DOE and statistical methods to ensure safety and reliability.

You will work with Electrical Engineering, Software R&D, Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering to validate performance, develop robust test methods, and document protocols for sound engineering decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 0+ years of experience.
• Experience documenting engineering reports, SOPs, test protocols, and lab notebooks.

Aufgaben

• Develop test strategies for insulin therapy systems and validate products in simulated home environments.
• Apply statistics (DOE, hypothesis testing, capability analysis) to support method validation and risk assessment.
• Operate lab equipment (environmental chambers, signal generators, Instrons) and collaborate with EE, Software R&D, Systems, and Mechanical Engineering to improve designs.
