Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Reliability Engineer II located at the Brookfield, WI corporate headquarters. You will drive reliability and quality initiatives across new product development, collaborating with Marketing and Engineering to translate CtQ requirements into robust designs.

Strong statistical analysis and testing expertise are essential. Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in reliability/quality engineering, DOE experience, and familiarity with Weibull analysis.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent field.
• 2–5 years in reliability/quality or statistical engineering.
• Experience with product development processes emphasizing testing, QA, and design validation.
• Experience with Design of Experiments; Six Sigma preferred.
• Knowledge of Weibull analysis and reliability statistics.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically/internationally.
• ASQ CRE or DFSS/Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams for new product designs with focus on reliability.
• Identify critical-to-quality (CtQ) user needs in mechanical and electrical design.
• Track multiple projects to ensure schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering on reliability and testing.
• Develop test plans and procedures to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze data and report using statistical techniques and reliability distributions.
