Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking a Reliability Engineer I/II for Balance of Plant (BOP) – Cooling & Water Systems to support safe, reliable power plant operations. You will monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues during outages, and help improve system reliability and efficiency in partnership with operations, maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from ABET-accredited institution or equivalent
Two years of engineering-related experience preferred
Knowledge of mechanical systems, power generation or industrial facilities is desirable

Responsibilities

Assist in data analysis, technical reviews and trend analyses to aid decision making
Prepare engineering plans, designs, specifications and cost estimates with clear documentation
Interface with customers and other departments to ensure objectives meet requirements, budget and schedule
Provide technical and field support, identify deficiencies and troubleshoot to minimize failures
Assist with business cases and operational plans to implement projects
Communicate results to management and customers with clear documentation
Stay current with engineering developments and best practices
