Job summary

Broadcom seeks a Reliability Engineer to join the Global Operations Quality Assurance team in Fort Collins, CO. The role supports qualification activities for silicon and packaging solutions and collaborates with BUs and external vendors to meet schedules.

Responsibilities include board design review, thermal analysis, HTOL setup, debugging, and development of stress testing plans. A BS in engineering with 8+ years in a REL Lab is desired.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related field; 8+ years of related experience desired.
• Experience in REL Lab environments and reliability qualification processes.
• Strong hardware/ASIC test engineering background with PCB design review.

Responsibilities

• Board hardware schematic and layout review.
• Thermal head simulation and design review.
• Liaise between external vendors and internal BUs.
• Convert HTOL vectors to in-house MCC HTOL systems.
• Provide technical engineering support for the REL Lab team.
• Manage project schedules to critical milestones.
• Ensure completion to meet qualification expectations.
