Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking a senior reliability and quality engineer to lead the strategy for silicon photonics hardware.

The role focuses on failure analysis, qualification planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure design-for-quality across products from development through high-volume manufacturing. You will drive end-to-end reliability programs, manage PPQ and change management, and partner with manufacturing and customers to deliver robust, field-ready solutions while

Qualifications

Experience in quality and reliability for silicon photonics and related devices.
Proven ability to design qualification plans and reports for customers and Broadcom.
Packaging experience (2D/2.5D/3D) and design for reliability/test.
Strong analytical skills in statistics and data analysis tools.
Customer-facing communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Drive quality and reliability strategy for Broadcom's silicon photonics portfolio.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure design for excellence in quality and reliability.
Manage end-to-end reliability qualification of silicon photonics devices and related tech.
Develop qualification plans and reports per customer and Broadcom requirements.
Lead failure analysis investigations with root cause and corrective actions.
Coordinate with manufacturing for smooth product transfers and ramping.
Uphold PPQ and Change Management practices to protect customers and products.
Assist in preparation and hosting of customer visits and audits.
Provide regular quality updates and reports.
